Soaking Almonds for Nut Milk

1. Soak the almonds in a glass container.

2. Pour the almonds along with soaking water directly into the strainer.

3. Rinse the almonds in a steady stream of cool water. Drain.

4. Cover with a plastic bag if you aren’t going to use them.

5. Pour the almonds into the blender.

6. Just cover with water - about 1/4 inch. Add vanilla, honey or stevia, if desired.

7. Don't Forget The Lid!!

8. This is actually a live action shot! Blend for 2 minutes. It is normal for the pulp to cover the sides of the blender.

9. Add the remaining amount of water.

10. Strain the milk by lightly tapping the strainer against blender to keep the milk flowing. Press pulp against mesh of strainer with a spoon, or finger.

11. This is a normal amount of pulp.
